To regulate the expenditure of the Council; |

To appoint with prior
approval of the Government, officers and other
employees of the Council on such terms and
conditions as may be prescribed; |

03. |
To establish coaching centers
and encourage proper training of coaches,
referees and sportsmen at all levels of sports; |
|
04. |
To allocate funds, grants and
subsidies to the national sports organizations
and other sports organizations and to call for
their audited accounts to probe into; |
|
05. |
To approve the appointment of officials to
accompany any sports team going abroad; |
|
06. |
To recognize national Sports
organizations and to issue such directives as
may be deemed necessary in the interest of
promotion of sports; |
|
07. |
To consider and approve and
affiliation of a nation sports organization to
international sports association, federation and
the like; and |
|
08. |
To execute all decisions of the Council. |
